“FAÏENCE TECHNIQUE”

Faenza, a charming town near Ravenna in Emilia-Romagna, is world-renowned as the “city of ceramics.” It has given its name to a prestigious type of majolica known as faïence, with origins dating back to the 13th century.

You are invited to take part in exclusive courses led by Countess Antonietta Mazzotti Emaldi at the splendid 18th-century Villa Emaldi in Errano, Faenza — an enchanting setting steeped in artistic heritage.

These courses are ideal for hobbyists, amateur potters, and anyone with a basic knowledge of ceramic and decorative techniques. All materials and tools — including clay, brushes, and pigments — are provided by the instructor.

Group size: 3 to 4 participants per course
Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Morning: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
• Afternoon: 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Course Fees:
• €650 – one-week course
• €300 – three-day course
• €150 – one-day course
(All fees include materials and finished pieces.)

Upon booking confirmation, a deposit of 30% is required. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation. The workshop will remain closed throughout the month of August.
